The Sugar Hill Farm (sugarhillfarmpa.com) is located in the mountains of north central Pennsylvania. The grass is plentiful and lush, and the elevation keeps it relatively cool. We raise registered Scottish Highland Cattle one of the oldest and purest cattle breeds.
The Farm has deep connections to the land, livestock care, and the kind of honest farming practices that local communities have trusted for generations. Our mission is simple: provide families, households, and buyers with access to quality farm-raised products while preserving the values that make local farming important.
Farming has been in our family for over 100 years. We created a grass-fed organic beef business because we believe in the concepts represented by it, namely, a family-owned sustainable agricultural business that uses no chemicals, no hormones, no antibiotics, resulting in a healthy and nutritious product produced in harmony with the land and with less impact on the environment. To highlight our belief in sustainable farming practices, our entire farm is certified organic.
